Discussion Friday: The Ladies and their Screen Time  
Last week, many people shared their opinion on their favorite White Collar lady.  We had a great turnout, and we hope that this week's question will also get your creative minds turning!


For a show with so many awesome women, White Collar sure doesn't pass the Bechdel Test very often. Which of our awesome ladies do you wish would share screentime more often - and what do you think they'd talk about?
 
Remember:
1. Always label NSFW (Not Safe For Work) stuff in the title and post under a cut.
2. Fic and artwork needs to have a rating and/or warnings
3. For people with annoying internet connections, say in the title if a comment is graphic/images/gif-heavy and post picspams under a cut.

Ellen and June! Yes! I really wish we got to see that - Ellen mentions in canon that she spoke to June, but I would so loved to have seen that onscreen.

I imagine they'd each be a little wary of the other at first - they are coming from opposite sides of the law, even if they are both retired, but I imagine they'd have a lot to talk about beyond just Neal.

Another scene I love to imagine, even though there's not really any room for it even in fic without going majorly AU, is a conversation between June and Kate. About what it's like to maintain a long-term relationship with someone who's in prison, and the sacrifices and constraints they had to accept in structuring their lives and those relationships around letters and the routine of weekly visits, and how they both made it work. And the frustrations they didn't always share with Neal and Byron, and the times they were tempted to leave, and the reasons why they didn't.

That is exactly how I imagine they would react to each other at first. *Forgot to add that yes they would have lots to talk about besides Neal. I was just thinking in terms of the show. If they had secenes on the show I assume they would have mostly talked about Neal and what was going on with James.

And I would love to see a conversation like that between June and Kate. And also Ellen had told Neal that Kate came to her place about the Rapheal. I would like to see the converation they had and what each of their thoughts were on the other one.
